Let’s be honest: if you told a room full of nonprofit educators, finance pros, development leads, and frontline staff that they were spending the day learning about artificial intelligence (or ai learning), you might expect a few nervous chuckles. Maybe a sigh. Possibly someone slowly backing away toward the coffee machine.
But when RizeNext showed up at the YWCA Utah, something different happened.
Instead of tech jargon and complicated charts, the day was filled with laughter, lightbulb moments, and real conversation. AI went from a mysterious buzzword to something staff could actually see themselves using—in classrooms, in budgets, in outreach programs, and even in daily workflows. That’s the magic of a RizeNext workshop.

Led by Trina Celeste Limpert, RizeNext brought not just tools, but empathy. That mattered. Because the YWCA’s team wasn’t a typical tech startup. This was a nonprofit with people on the frontlines—doing the work of supporting women and families, responding to crises, and building equity across Utah. Many didn’t work behind desks. Most didn’t have technical training. But all left that workshop feeling seen, equipped, and energized.
“Trina met every person exactly where they were,” said Liz Owens, CEO of YWCA Utah.“She made the concepts of AI not only approachable, but genuinely exciting and relevant.”
The session wasn’t one-size-fits-all. It was tailored—deeply aligned with the YWCA’s strategic plan, thoughtfully framed around their real-world challenges and opportunities. This wasn’t about selling software. It was about unlocking potential.
Trina’s understanding of the nonprofit space was clear from the start. She knew that budget constraints are real, that staff are stretched thin, and that any new initiative has to serve a mission—not distract from it. So, she didn’t just deliver training. She partnered with the executive team, helped map goals to tools, and turned AI into something actionable, accessible, and dare we say… fun?
“Her clarity, creativity, and approachable style turned what could’ve been an overwhelming topic into an energizing and empowering one,” said Liz.
And the impact? Already visible. Staff are speaking a new language—one of curiosity and capability. There’s more confidence in using AI to support community programs, more excitement around innovation, and a tangible sense of momentum.
“The ripple effects of this experience are already being felt—in our service to the community, in our staff’s professional growth and confidence, and in the well-being that comes from feeling equipped for a rapidly evolving future,” Liz shared.
At RizeNext, that’s the goal every time: not to teach AI, but to unlock it—in people, in purpose, and in possibility. Whether your team wears lab coats or lanyards, hard hats or hoodies, RizeNext meets you where you are—and helps you build something that lasts.
So, if you’re wondering whether AI has a place in your organization, here’s your answer: it does. And RizeNext is ready to help you find it.
